Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, what does that feel like?

THE LITTLE BITS

When playing for kids, it's always so awesome! Not nerve wrecking at all. Most kids don't know what to expect, so we always give them (or try to) a good time. We invite them to rock out with us, we bring plenty of props and toys to get them warmed up. Our shows are meant to be fun, and it's not just through music.

Describe your typical stage show performance. What might we expect at your show and why we should go?

THE LITTLE BITS

We wear funny hats, it's a real great warmer between us and kids. Kids do take notice of the hats, and they'll smile or laugh or ask. We also wear assorted color shirts with our logo on them. Yeah it's like a golden rule to never wear your own band shirts, but we have no issue with that. We know our identity, and wearing the shirts is a part of it.

Tell us about your most memorable gig and why it was so great?

THE LITTLE BITS

Our first all ages show in San Francisco was at the Haight Ashbury Street Festival. This was the start of our love affair with street events. We were included in the program for children's activities, and we had kids joining us on stage for the first time. It was also our first time to use bubbles for our show and it worked out fantastic. The bubbles are kind of like our pyro effects, except, no fire and no danger.

Tell us about your worst gig and why it was so bad?

We have not yet had a bad gig!

Tell Us About Your Dream Gig, who you'd like to play with, where?

THE LITTLE BITS

I'd love to do a show with The Not-Its, The Boogers and Mike Park! A library would be awesome, but anywhere would be great. Our friends Rockin Kids Trio would also be a fun band to do this show with us!

Do you believe commercial/mainstream music has had a negative effect on new music, why or why not?

THE LITTLE BITS

I listen to a lot of commercial music, some I love, some I hate. I don't think being commercial (or not) has much to do with whether I'll like it or not, I'm just into songs that are melodic. But well, I am not a fan of autotune. Unfortunately, a few mainstream artists I do like, rely on that. Does it have a negative effect on new music? I don't think so. If you write your own songs, I hope you write because you like to write... and not because it's what's hot.

Has the internet really been helpful to your promotion, why or why not?

THE LITTLE BITS

It's the only way we promote, so yes, it's been helpful.

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

THE LITTLE BITS

We do not have a street team at the moment.

Are you looking to get a record deal, why or why not?

THE LITTLE BITS

It's not our goal, but if we ever reach the point that a record deal is what will help us reach out to a bigger audience, then why not. Currently, we are happy to be a local band and we will try to be a national band on our own as best as possible.

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

THE LITTLE BITS

Our children may be grown by then, but I hope we're still doing The Little Bits. We love performing for children.
